Our Mission
Our Vision

A Healthy, transformed and poverty free Community.

Opportunity Career Organization (OCO) is a youth-led, Tanzanian-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering students through education, mentorship, and career development. Founded on the belief that every student regardless of background deserves access to guidance and opportunities, OCO supports young people in discovering their purpose and unlocking their potential. Since our inception, we have worked directly with schools and communities to deliver career guidance, practical training, and personalized mentorship. Our approach is student-centered, action-oriented, and deeply committed to making a lasting impact.

From local classrooms to larger regional platforms, we champion equity in education and bridge the gap between school and the real world. Our outreach has reached over ten schools and counting, with programs that are inclusive, inspirational, and impactful. Together with our partners, mentors, and volunteers, we’re building a generation of Tanzanian youth who are informed, confident, and future-ready.
